25th October 2008

Unfortunately, on October 17th, Daniel developed a sudden, severe case of viral laryngitis and was unable to perform with Symphony Nova Scotia. He received medical attention, and was advised that performing could permanently damage his vocal cords. Thankfully, Daniel has since fully recovered, and is eagerly looking forward to performing on Friday, January 9th 2009.

The Symphony and Dalhousie Arts Centre staff are currently following up with October 17th ticket purchasers. For purchasers who are able to attend the January 9th performance, they are asked to keep their October 17th tickets and bring them to the performance on January 9th. Their tickets and seats will be honoured as if they had originally been purchased for the January 9th concert.

Daniel would like to thank Symphony Nova Scotia, Walt Music and his fans for their support during this time.

Daniel was able to perform with the Symphony on October 20th in Sydney, Nova Scotia for a sold out audience. He will be performing again with the Symphony in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on November 12th at TH’YARC Playhouse.
