What began as two friends performing in Adelaide almost ten years ago soon became too big for the City of Churches. The Rockerfeller Two received stunning reviews in the 2001 Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Norwood and Barossa Food & Wine Festivals and wowed audiences at private and corporate functions. With Adelaide conquered, it was time for the duo to move to a city that doesn’t sleep.

Since relocating to the east, The Two have showcased their unique brand of swinging entertainment in Sydney, Melbourne and beyond. Recent gigs include the Manly Jazz festival, Tarungua Jazz Festival in New Zealand and Princess Cruises in Canada and North America.

The Rockerfeller Two are perfect for cocktail parties, weddings, corporate functions and shows. Whether dining or dancing, your audience will be unable to resist the joyful mix of jazz, latin, swing, sixties pop and classic dance tunes. Moving effortlessly from subtle background music to upbeat dance numbers, the Rockerfeller Two know how to work a crowd and guarantee your event is a complete success.

Adelaide born Daniel Matto is one of Australia's up and coming entertainers. Daniel started as a trombone player in a number of swing and dance bands and began his singing career as the vocalist/ trombone player in a Blues Brothers tribute band. While in Adelaide, Daniel sang with a number of ensembles playing at all the major venues including residencies at the Royal Oak, The Hyatt, Supermild and The Adelaide Casino as well as many festivals including the Norwood Food and Wine festival, the Barossa Jazz and Wine festival, the Adelaide Cabaret festival, and the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

In 2003, Daniel moved to Sydney where under the guidance and tutelage of Australian Jazz legends Joy Yates, Dave MacRae and Catie Halliday he began honing his skills as a jazz vocalist and entertainer. Daniel has sang at a number of Sydney's top jazz venues including Soup Plus and The Basement and has a popular residency at Jazushi as well as his 'Ladies Night's' at the Sky Lounge. Daniel has also sang backing vocals for some of Australia's top names such as Guy Sebastian, Casey Donovan, Paulini, Sophie Monk, Ross Wilson and Alex Lloyd (in a performance for the Royal Prince Frederick and Princess Mary of Denmark).

Daniel currently performs throughout Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide in a number of groups ranging from duo's to nine piece 'little' big bands most notably The Rockerfeller Two, the Martini Orchestra and the Daniel Matto Trio, entertaining the crowds with his quick wit, smooth vocals and easy going attitude.

Adrian’s love for music began almost 15 years ago when the high school swing band toured Hong Kong and China. After leaving school he went on to study jazz at the Adelaide Conservatorium, learning the saxophone and piano. During this time he played in many different jazz ensembles and pub and club bands around Adelaide including a soul tribute band and many jazz ensembles. A few years later, while on tour in Melbourne with an original band he was recruited as keyboardist for popular band, Pollyanna. He toured with Pollyanna for about a year, visiting every major city numerous times and performing on all major entertainment TV shows of the day including Hey Hey It’s Saturday, Channel V,  The Micallef Programme and The 10.30 Slot. When life on the road became to much, Adrian decided to try something different and became a show band musician aboard the cruise ship “Crown Princes” For 6 months he performed shows including Broadway, LesMis, Guys and Dolls as a woodwind player and also backed many solo singers and performers.

Since returning to Australia, Adrian has played as a session piano player for Melbourne pop bands Even, The Badloves and recently Sophie Koh. He now teaches music and performs locally and interstate with the Rockerfeller Two and various jazz and pop bands.
